Kirtan with Kirtananda
Join Caroline Trengrove, Michael Barry and Eskae van Eck for an uplifting Saturday evening of Kirtan.
A joyful, participatory form of musical meditation involving the call-and-response chanting of sacred mantras. Originating in India as part of the Bhakti Yoga tradition, Kirtan uses music and the collective voice to quiet the mind, open the heart, and cultivate a deep sense of peace and connection.
Through the gentle repetition of mantra, the practice becomes a moving meditation, inviting you to let go of the busyness of everyday life and settle into the present moment. No singing experience is needed, and there's nothing to learn or memorise. Whether you choose to sing, listen quietly, clap along, or simply rest in the sound, you are warmly welcomed exactly as you are.
This 90-minute experience is an opportunity to connect with yourself and others in a relaxed, supportive environment. Accompanied by live music, you'll be guided through an evening of mantra, meditation, and community, leaving you feeling grounded, uplifted, and deeply nourished.
Come with an open heart and experience the transformative power of shared sound.
Suitable for everyone. No experience is necessary.
