Yin Yoga is a gentle, slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on deep stretching, relaxation, and inner stillness.
Unlike more dynamic or "yang" styles of yoga, Yin involves holding passive poses for longer periods—typically between 2 to 5 minutes. This allows the stretch to reach the body’s deeper connective tissues such as fascia, ligaments, and joints, supporting greater flexibility, improved joint health, and enhanced circulation.

But Yin Yoga is more than just a physical practice—it’s also deeply meditative. The stillness of each pose creates space for mindfulness, inviting you to slow down, tune into your breath, and notice the sensations of your body without judgment. In the midst of busy, fast-paced lives, Yin offers a much-needed pause—an opportunity to reset, release tension, and calm the nervous system.

Props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks are often used to support the body and promote comfort in each shape, making the practice accessible to all levels. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to more active forms of movement and a powerful way to unwind, rebalance, and reconnect inward.
